You are 5 today!5!!



You are such a beautiful soul,such a mature old soul that is so sensitive.I pray you remain this way all your life. Dont ever allow anyone to belittle you saying "your so sensitive" .Being just that is such a precious gift.The tenderness with which you touch my face,and kiss me lightly,or hug me so tight,or try to make me feel better when I am upset,is something beyond your age.

This year has been hard on all of us as a family.With Appa being away from us because of his work.But,your love and strength has been pushing us to get back together soon.

Sometime during this year,when we were cuddling up during your bedtime,you asked me,"Ma,when will you die?"I told you,"Not anytime now buddy,I have so much to do in this world and Im not gonna go away anytime soon",with a bright smile.You,with tears in your eyes said"Mommy,please never leave me and go away to God,please".

There is also this other heart wrenching episode,where we watched Hachiko together and it simply broke your heart.You couldnt understand how the father leaves his dog(Hachiko) behind and goes away for so many years.You cried and wept for the dog you never met.You lamented over it for several weeks.You finally decided that the father(Richard Gere) must be jailed for his carelessness.
Oh my sweet baby boy,never give up on love,always believe love is enough like you do now.Always.

You hate conflict.You love to express your love physically.You like to talk a lot about God and fairies.You discovered about death.You are obsessed with LEGO and building. You LOVE cars.You love to collect cars.You took to cycling like a pro.You love your grandparents so much.You LOVE to say,i love my family.Your smile is infectious.Your love is joy.You always prefer fruits to vegetables.You love your friends,all of them.You love watching movies.You love dogs and see their souls.Your favorite words are astonished and impossible.Your favorite one liner is "Nothing is impossible".You like to say Om shanti to calm yourself.You learning Yoga and Piano lessons.
You believe in magic.You believe in fairies.You believe in love.

Happy birthday, Yadditu. Happy birthday to my first miracle,the one who taught me how to be a mother. Thank you for gifting me this beautiful journey called mumma-hood:)

Happy birthday my unique and precious boy.  I wish you the joyous years and so much love,and a lot of magic but also a wee bit of failures,but no matter what, happiness and pure merriment in your lives ahead.

Thank you for being the sweetest,smartest,happiest and coolest son.You are such a happy lil' dude:)

How old are you? 4 and a half!!OHH NO ma,I am 5!!Yathaarth is 5!!

Who is your best friend? Jinny

What is your favorite food? Maggi and ice cream and chewing gum and my pizza and my oranges and strawberries!

What is your favorite animal? I dont know.Mumma wait,its a tiger.Because I like them.Plus it has my favourite colors on them ma,orange and black

What is your favorite color? Black

What is your favorite movie? Mahesh babu's movie.Finding Nemo

Who is your favorite person? MickeyMouse.(But,yaddu thats not a person.Gives me a glare!and then slowly decides it to be..)Appa

What does mommy do? Mommy cooks for me..mumma gives me a bath and she drives very well.My mumma will work too.She takes photographs and she teaches big boys.She also keeps messaging.

What does daddy do? Actually,Appa talks on the phone always.He also drives a little.And he does movie shooting in different cities.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Yathaarth will be a jet pilot mumma.And a NTL cab driver.And also a chef !

 What do you love?  Eating ice creams all the time,but mumma says no.Then i like to build cities with LEGO.

Some random things about Yathaarth.

Here are some things about my son and I find it funny and queer at times.Nevertheless all these make my son,the prettiest baby ever. 1.Yathaarth HATES pacifiers.Period.I first introduced the pacifier when he was about 2 weeks old.He spat it out.I tried a month later(a different one this time around)-He spat it out.I kept trying on and off - same result.Last month when I was cleaning his storage space,he found the pacifier,played around with it and when he realized it was a pacifier - Well,he SPAT IT OUT! 2.Yathaarth is a people's person.He loves to be around with people(Known faces strangers just anyone).He loves cooing and babbling to them.He loves smiling at people.He just loves people. 3.Yathaarth was always a 'talker'.He started his baby jargon at around 2 months of age.I found this very very scary at times(paranoid me) 4.Yathaarth loves to stretch his arms wide when we take him on walks(when someone is carrying him)he loves to feel the textures of the surfaces his hand...

A letter

Found this in the drafts - publishing it now:) Hey there lil soldier! After you were born,I never wrote a single letter to you.I did have the urge to,many many times,but never did.So finally,today as you you sleep peacefully in your cot,hugging your blankie tight,I am going to try my best to spill out all those overflowing emotions and love and find the right words to do that. I think I would mentioned a gazillion times as to how much you have changed our lives forever,I think you will be hearing that pretty much a lot.Dad and I still think it all like a dream,a very very beautiful dream,especially when you lay between us on our bed,yapping away to glory or as you sit quietly on my lap as we drive,sometimes listening to what dad and I speak or sometimes answering back,with a lot of BAAAAAAAAAAA'S.It is at moments like these,that your dad and I share a quick smile and WONDER.Wonder in pure awe. The Golden Title

Those pretty nights when we cuddle and hug,just before your beautiful eyes close gently with the ecstasy of sleep,those are the moments when you merrily paint my world red with love. A snippet from one such night: Me:Yaddu,are you happy that God gave us you as your mum and appa? Y:Amma,when we were up there with God,He gave us a special machine( dont' miss the sci-fi touch )where we could talk.Its attached to ourtummies.However God never forgets to remove those machines before He puts us into Mummas. Me:( Simply open mouthed)............... Y ( continues.....): So,God said I can go and choose my amma and appa.He took me to a room.Its called the Blue Room.Mamma,its full of very bad appas. Me:( Now simply curious..).I stay quiet though... Y:Then He took me to a red room,and that was full of bad bad mummas. Me:Oh no.What happened next?
